Letter re: NY State Championship Match & NRA National Police Shooting Championship Postal Match

The 2022 NYS Championship Match will be held on Friday and Saturday, September 9 & 10 at the Monroe Chester Sportsman Club.  A substantial change for this match will be that the full Police Pistol Combat course of fire will be utilized.  Yes, a full 1500.  Competitors will need to have enough ammunition for the whole course of fire, 150 rounds will be needed.  In addition, the 1500, we will also have service gun matches (only one match per competitor per day though, due to time restrictions).  Off Duty matches, a semi-auto match, and additionally the NRA Distinguished Revolver and Semi Auto matches will be offered.  There will also be a non-fired two-person team match (aggregate match 5 scores).
The scores from the state championship will be sent to the NRA and will be compiled into the first ever NPSC Postal Match.
Squadding will commence at a date soon (when the match bulletin is finalized).
Also, this match is one of the three matches that are used to earn the NYPCA Distinguished Award.
Thanks,
Chris McCabe
